17A - Elevator Pitch 2

2) A reflection on the feedback you received from your last pitch.
The feedback I received on my first elevator pitch was positive. I have two classmates that aren’t specifically familiar with tracking their food and they mentioned I did a good job at explaining the process.
3) What did you change, based on the feedback?
I only changed the opening of my pitch, I'm still looking for a really good attention grab.I did try and deliver it better. I think I was focusing too much on not stumbling on the first pitch so I lacked movement and emotion, so this time I tried to be more present.

  1. Hey Danielle!
I thought your pitch was really well-written, and the facts you mentioned made for a convincing pitch. The best part about your pitch was the vocal variety. You maintained your composure throughout the pitch, which made it easier to put all my focus into the content of your pitch. You also emphasized the important facts by shifting your vocal tone, which was also really great. I think a good attention grab for this would be to set up a real life scenario at the beginning and then present your service as the practical solution. Great job on your pitch!

  2. Hi Danielle,
I enjoyed listening to your pitch the first and the second time. I think you have a great idea and you presented it and spoke well on the topic, making sure to mention all of the important aspects of it. I liked how you added the time span that customers would save if using this app because it helps catch the viewers attention. If I were to give one bit of information to change, I would speak up more, which can lead to a confidence factor that you will show more during the next pitch. Besides that, excellent pitch!

  3. Hi Danielle! Your introduction and flow were great! You were steady and continuous with good hand movements to help make your points. Your words were especially good as you introduced your product and explained the need for it in a simplistic and well-rounded manner. I am not interested in healthy eating or calories, and I even clearly saw the necessity and appeal of your product.
